Ingredients:
6 boneless chicken breasts, skinned and halved
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 10-ounce can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 4-ounce can button mushrooms, drained
1 small sachet Italian salad dressing mix
2 ounces water
hot cooked pasta or rice
Procedure:
Arrange the chicken breasts in the crock pot. Whisk Italian dressing mix
and water until smooth and pour on top of chicken. Cover and cook under
low heat for approximately 3 hours or until chicken is tender. Then
blend thoroughly the cream cheese and coup until smooth. Add in the
button mushrooms. Pour soup over chicken and simmer for another hour.
When thoroughly cooked, remove from heat and serve hot over rice and
pasta.
